This 3-bay fire station seamlessly fits the residential character of its community through the sensitive use of scale
and exterior materials on the building.  Because the orientation of the two-story living quarters for the fire station runs
perpendicular to the street, the facility has minimized frontage.  Brick and cast stone accents add interest and
break down the scale of this building in response to the adjacent one and two-story homes.  Detailing and exterior
lights around the archway at the living quarters creates an inviting entry for the public.
